My Writings. My Thoughts.

Starting to fill up!

Content here and there. Not as much as I’d hoped as I’m still sifting through my hard drives to find stuff. I don’t even have a lot of the Doc Clock that I thought I had. But I have the source files, so I may have to make some things in the next few days. Then there’s the awesome things that I’ve done that I can’t put up due to contractual agreements. Oh well.

Right, who am I really?

So, probably before even coming here, you’re wondering “Just what IS a Chromium Yeti anyway?”

Good question. Here’s the story behind it.

So on a quiet afternoon, late 2006 I was stuck with a name for a fake production company for one of my assignments at Natcoll. There was no doubt I wanted to allude to my name somehow, so the initials C and Y were put into the brainstorming mix. I can’t exactly recall how I ended up with those two words, but it may have involved a dictionary, a sketchpad and several beers. And then the Chromium Yeti was born!

A site was made, which contained my Natcoll portfolio and was never touched again. I would go on to acquire WOFT, which I then lost a few years later due to me forgetting to reregister the domain, but still retained the blog of randomness I still use today.

After nearly 4 years of working in the video games industry, it gave me a new perspective, and so I decided to try my hand at freelance 3d art as well as putting together a game title of my own.

So that’s my last few years in a nutshell. Hope to have more stuff up soon.

The New Beginning
